President-Chief Title Officer
A title industry professional since 1972 and a co-founder of Provident Title Company in 1986, Ralph Khelil believes that attention to quality service is what underpins the company’s success. “Service, service and service yet again,” he says. “Service excellence is the foundation of everything we do.”
Ralph Khelil is frequently invited to speak on title-related topics by escrow associations and other real estate circles in Southern California. Ralph holds an economics diploma from the University of Paris (Sorbonne). He lives with his family in Porter Ranch.
Chief Executive Officer
A Southern California title industry veteran and one of the founding executives of Provident Title, Jerry takes great pride in what the firm has become. “Back in 1986, we set out to be different,” he says. “We began as a company that put client service first and had a predisposition to see all transactions as potentially insurable. I’m happy to say that we are still that kind of company today.”
Jerry is a Beverly Hills resident.
Sr.Vice President-Southern California Manager
Brian Lenox joined the title industry in 1977 and has served in a wide range of product and sales positions in his nearly 40-year career. His current responsibilities involve overseeing Provident Title Company’s operations throughout Southern California.
“What we do as title professionals is protect our clients’ financial well-being,” Brian says, “and that’s something I take pride in.”A Ventura County resident, Brian has a history of taking the service concept beyond the workplace, through service on various real-estate industry boards.
Mitch Bader, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Mitch joined Provident Title Company in 2010 following a long and distinguished career in finance and accounting. His current responsibilities include finance and operations. “It’s a pleasure to be part of a firm where the ideals of professionalism and client service mean something,” he says. “This is a company with a proud heritage and a bright future in one of the world’s best real estate markets.”
Mitch lives in Beverly Hills.
Senior Vice President – Senior Title Officer
A member of the executive team that founded Provident Title Company in 1986, Moncef Selmi has served as a title professional for nearly 30 years. Current responsibilities include residential, commercial, subdivision and TSG transactions. He believes that personal service has been the critical element in the success of Provident Title Company and points out that “our customers can always to a live person for assistance at any time.”
Moncef holds a Master’s in Linguistics from the University of Tunis (Tunisia) and is fluent in French and Arabic. He resides in the Lakewood/Long Beach area of Southern California.
Senior Vice President - Senior Title Officer - Title Operations Manager
Steve Poss began his career as a title professional in 1986 and joined the Provident team two years later.He is proud of the profession and the security it provides customers, many of whom are making the largest and most important investment of their lives.He is also pleased to be associated with a company that takes “a flexible and can-do approach to transactions.At Provident, we look for solutions, not excuses.”
A weekend soccer player and occasional golfer, Steve resides with his family in the South Bay area of Southern California.
Senior Vice President and Sales Manager
A 25-year veteran of the title industry, John Daly’s principal focus is business development on the West Side of Los Angeles where he grew up and attended school (Palisades High School and Santa Monica College) and has resided for more than 35 years.
“I enjoy the people side of this business,” John says, “and the best way to develop productive business relationships is through communication and outstanding service.”

Louie Maarfi has served the title industry in Southern California for more than 30 years and was a member of the executive team that founded Provident Title Company in 1986.“We began with the notion that smaller, community-oriented companies are more flexible and provide better service,” he says.“We still conduct the business that way today.”
Louie holds a Master’s degree in English and Spanish andis proficient in French and Italian.A Beverly Hills resident, he serves on the board of the Beverly Hills American Youth Soccer Organization.
With more than 10 years of progressive sales experience in title insurance, James Park is responsible for sales planning, market analysis and resource allocation. “In my experience,” James says, “success in sales growth and portfolio expansion comes from superior service, a strong client network, and setting efficient goals.”
James earned his bachelor’s in Business from the University of Phoenix. He lives in Mid-Wilshire.
Alex Gomez been with Provident Title Company since 2008 and currently serves on the sales management team. “I got into this profession because I love helping people and have a passion for detail,” he says. “My goal is to help Provident reps reach their maximum potential.”
A U.S. Army veteran, Alex attended California State University, Dominguez Hills, and earned his Master’s in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He lives in Downey.
Ron Bautista is senior title officer at Provident Title Company’s Glendale office, where he oversees title underwriting. He is a 30-year veteran of the title industry and says the experience has made him very service-oriented.
“I joined Provident because of their reputation for excellent service and haven’t been disappointed,” the Glendale resident said. “Great service really is the guiding principle here.”
Phil Jauregui joined the title industry in 1989 and has extensive experience in both title and sales. He currently manages sales and client relationships for Provident in Orange County, where he and his family live.
“Provident is one of the last family-like companies in the industry,” he says. “A close-knit relationship with management helps when it comes to solving problems, preventing issues and ensuring a timely close.”

Julie Schaal has 33 years of service in the title industry, 26 of them with Provident Title Company.“I’ve always been proud of the work we do here,” she says.“When we identify potential title issues and help correct them, we do something important for our clients – we strengthen their financial security.”
Julie resides with her family in Long Beach..
Jennifer Cruz is a veteran of more than 25 years of service as an escrow professional. Based in Provident Title Company’s Glendale office, Jennifer currently oversees commercial and residential escrow operations (both sale and refinance) for the company.
“Some clients prefer to use the same provider for both title and escrow services,” says Jennifer, a Covina resident, “and we’re happy to provide this convenience through our Glendale office.
